Frequently Asked Questions

Henzienigma provides you with answers to your commonly asked questions.

How can I concentrate while meditating?

The most common myth about meditation is that you have to concentrate/focus on something.

Concentration is when you focus all your awareness on one sense/object, whereas Meditation is to let go of the control.
Just being a witness to what is happening; doing nothing and just being.

How can I control my thoughts while meditating?

Thoughts cannot be controlled. They come and they go. Your attempt to control them will further create more thoughts in your mind. So the best thing you can do is to take a back seat and simply start to observe them. Don’t try to analyze anything, however good or bad it is. Just watch and let go. With constant practice you will realize that thoughts are not the issue, but getting involved with them is. Once you master the art of not getting attached to your thoughts, you will realize that there is no need to control them in the first place.
