The Present Moment

The Present Moment

01/25/2019

Life is a beautiful gift, unwrap it with utmost gratitude and love. Each moment it unfolds the opportunities we never thought would be there. All you have to do is seize them with all the happiness and awareness. You just need to ‘STOP’, stop dwelling in the past, stop dreaming about the future, stop handling the remote of your present moment to the things that are already gone and the moments yet to be experienced. BE in the now; fully Alive, fully Aware.

Every moment of our life comes with a lesson to be learnt. Yes. Time is our guru, for all we desire and aspire lies in the present moment. All the signs we search for can only be caught hold of if the mind is allowed to be in the ‘now’ moment.

If one learns from the past and applies that teaching in the present moment, then the future is bound to be joyful. Life becomes a celebration when you live in the present. As they say, “Wherever you are, be all there.” Life can only be experienced in the present, otherwise you miss; you miss the moment where you can enter the temple; the temple of inner self for the gates only open in the present moment for celebration to happen.

So, my message to you before starting this day is to practice being in the present moment. The only process that is happening in the present moment is our breathing. It changes its rhythms. Pattern according to one’s bodily chemistry and emotions. Breathing is shallow when you are sad, short and fast when you are furious and long and deep when you are relaxed. If you can bring back your wandering mind to every inhalation and exhalation, you will automatically switch to the present. It’s easier said than done, but regular practice will take you far from where you start.

Spread this celebration to everyone you come across, spread this joy to all, the happiness that is contagious, let it take a seat and do the good. The love that you have filled inside, allow it to flow. Practice Dhayana everyday such that every moment you are in meditation.

Blessings always with you.
With love and respect
